【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiestherequirementsandassociatedtestmethodsapplicabletowidetoleranceductileironcouplingsandwidetoleranceflangeadaptorsintendedforusewithpipecomponentsmadefromanumberofpipematerials(ductileiron,greyiron,PE,PVC-U,steel,fibre-cement),forprovidingaleaktightsealoverawiderangeofpipeexternaldiameters:—toconveywater(e.g.potablewater);—withorwithoutpressure;—tobeinstalledbeloworaboveground,insideoroutsidebuildings.Thisdocumentisnotintendedtocoversewerageorgasapplications,whereotherrequirementsmaybenecessary.Thisdocumentspecifiesrequirementsformaterials,dimensionsandtolerances,mechanicalpropertiesandstandardcoatingsofductileironproducts.Thisstandardcoversductileironproductscastbyanytypeoffoundryprocessormanufacturedbyfabricationofcastcomponents,aswellascorrespondingjoints,inasizerangeextendingfromDN40toDN600,foranallowableoperatingpressure(PFA)upto16bar,forfluidtemperaturesbetween0℃and25℃excludingfrost.Forhighertemperatures,upto50℃,additionaltypetestingshouldbecarriedout.Italsogivesperformancerequirementsandassociatedtestmethodsforrestrainedandnon-restrainedflexiblejoints.Jointdesignandgasketshapesareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.NOTE1PFAmaybelimiteddependingonpipematerialseffectivelyconnected.NOTE2Inthisdocument,allpressuresarerelativegaugepressures,expressedinbars(100kPa=1bar).NOTE3EN545givesthespecificationsfortheductileironfittingstobeusedwithductileironpipes.NOTE4EN12842givesthespecificationsfortheductileironfittingstobeusedwithPVC-UandPEpipes.
