【摘要】:Thistestmethodwillprovideanindicationoftheabilityofthevacuumcleanerinremovingdrydebrisfromhardsurfacefloors.Thecleaningabilityinthelaboratorytestwillnotbethesameasinhomecleaning;however,inmostcases,avacuumcleanerthatperformswellinthelaboratorywillcleanwellinahome.Toprovideauniformbasisformeasuringtheperformancedescribedin1.1,standardizedtesthardsurfaceflooringandstandardizedtestdebrisareused.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesonlyalaboratorytestfordeterminingtherelativehardsurfacefloor-cleaningabilityofhousehold/commercialvacuumcleanerswhentestedunderspecifiedtestconditions.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletohousehold/commercialtypesofupright,canister,combination,andstickvacuumcleanersthatuseadryprimarydirtreceptacleandareintendedforcleaninghardsurfacefloorsasaprimaryorsecondaryfunction.1.3Thistestmethodappliesonlytotheremovalofdrydebrisfromhardsurfacefloors,nottheremovalofembeddeddirtfromcarpet.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
