【摘要】:ThispartofISO8178specifiesthemeasurementandevaluationmethodsforgaseousandparticulateexhaustemissionfromreciprocatinginternalcombustionengines(RICengines)understeady-stateconditionsonatestbed,necessaryfordeterminingoneweightedvalueforeachexhaustgaspolluant.Variouscombinationsofengineloadandspeedreflectdifferentengineapplications(seeISO8178-4).ThispartofISO8178isapplicabletoRICenginesformobile,transportableandstationaryuse,excludingenginesformotorvehiclesprimarilydesignedforroaduse.ThispartofISO8178maybeappliedtoenginesusede.g.inearth-movingmachines,generatingsetsandforotherapplications.Inlimitedinstances,theenginecanbetestedonthetestbedinaccordancewithISO8178-2,thefieldtestdocument.Thiscanonlyoccurwiththeagreementofthepartiesinvolved.Itshouldberecognizedthatdataob-tainedunderthesecircumstancesmaynotagreecompletelywithpreviousorfuturedataobtainedundertheauspicesofthispartofISO8178.Therefore,itisrecommendedthatthisoptionbeexercisedonlywithenginesbuiltinverylimitedquantitiessuchasverylargemarineorgeneratingsetengines.Forenginesusedinmachinerycoveredbyadditionalrequirements(e.g.occupationalhealthandsafetyregulations,regulationsforpowerplants)additionaltestconditionsandspecialevaluationmethodsmayapply.Whereitisnotpossibletouseatestbedorwhereinformationisrequiredontheactualemissionsproducedbyanin-serviceengine,thesitetestproceduresandcalibrationmethodsspecifiedinISO8178-2areappropriate.NOTE1ThispartofISO8178isintendedforuseasameasurementproceduretodeterminethegaseousandpaniculateemissionlevelsofRICenginesfornon-automotiveuse.Itspurposeistoprovideamapofanengine'semissioncharacteristicswhich,throughuseoftheproperweightingfactors,canbeusedasanindicationofthatengine'semissionlevelsundervariousapplications.Theemissionresultsareexpressedinunitsofgramsperkilowatthourandrepresentthemassrateofemissionsperunitofworkaccomplished.AlthoughthispartofISO8178isdesignedfornon-automotiveengines,itsharesmanyprincipleswithparticulateandgaseousemissionmeasurementsthathavebeeninuseformanyyearsforon-roadengines.Onetestpro-cedurethatsharesmanyoftheseprinciplesisthefulldilutionmethodcurrentlyspecifiedforcertificationof1985andlaterheavydutytruckenginesintheUSA.Anotheristheprocedurefordirectmeasurementofthegaseousemissionsintheundilutedexhaustgas,ascurrentlyspecifiedforthecertificationofheavydutytruckenginesinJapanandEurope.Manyoftheproceduresdescribedbelowaredetailedaccountsoflaboratorymethods,sincedetermininganemissionsvaluerequiresperformingacomplexsetofindividualmeasurements,ratherthanobtainingasinglemeasuredvalue.Thus,theresultsobtaineddependasmuchontheprocessofperformingthemeasurementsastheydependontheengineandtestmethod.Evaluatingemissionsfromoff-roadenginesismorecomplicatedthanthesametaskforon-roadenginesduetothediversityofoff-roadapplications.Forexample,on-roadapplicationsprimarilyconsistofmovingaloadfromonepointtoanotheronapavedroadway.Theconstraintsofthepavedroadways,maximumacceptablepavementloadsandmaximumallowablegradesoffuel,narrowthescopeofon-roadvehicleandenginesizes.Off-roaden-ginesandvehiclesincludeawiderrangeofsize,includingtheenginesthatpowertheequipment.Manyoftheenginesarelargeenoughtoprecludetheapplicationoftestequipmentandmethodsthatwereacceptableforon-roadpurposes.Incaseswheretheapplicationofdynamometersisnotpossiblethetestsshallbemadeatsiteorunderappropriateconditions.
